Our department has built a solid reputation for its work in the design and construction of steel moulds, GRC production, and special one off items.
As well as specialising in the production of bespoke units, we can also provide you with our standard precast concrete products, should we determine that these will be suitable for the needs of your site. Our range covers products ranging from sturdy gratings & steelwork through to underground drainage chambers, and are all manufactured to the same quality as our bespoke products. All standard products are available to be dispatched and delivered to you within 2-3 working days.
Benefit from the GRC Concrete Specialists
When you work with JKH, you have the option for your bespoke unit to be constructed with Glass Reinforced Cement (GRC). Units constructed with this will have been manufactured in a purpose made mould which is filled with a mix of Portland cement, sharp sand, and chopped strands of a special alkali resistant glass fibre. This mix produces concrete which has been greatly reinforced, allowing us to create strong products with a thinner wall thickness, reducing the overall weight and subsequent cost of the installation, offering an incredibly cost effective – yet tough – concrete solution.

Our environmental impact is of utmost importance to us at JKH; as an environmentally conscious company, we’re constantly looking for ways to reduce our impact on the environment. Our use of pre-cast concrete units mean that less concrete is used when compared to traditional on site casting procedures, as well as taking less time.
In order to reduce waste, our concrete is made in small batches, and we use self-levelling admixtures, eliminating the need for power hungry vibrating tables. All of our lorries use economical diesel engines, and we efficiently plan our journeys along with calling ahead to sites to reduce the amount of journeys we make. Finally, we prioritise email for office communications along with quotes and information for clients to reduce paper waste.
