Silt traps are an essential element of any efficient surface water run-off system. When silt from draining surface water gets into a drainage system it can affect its ability to function properly. Clogged pipes or silted soakaways can cause a build-up of this surface water. In the worst cases significant surface flooding can occur, and often the drainage system will need replacing. This is not only costly but unnecessary, and can be avoided using efficient silt traps.

London Direct Vision Standard (DVS) HGV Safety Permit – We have permits!

As part of JKH’s effort to remain leaders in concrete production and metal fabrication, we also see our transport as an important part of the business. Using the equipment fitted at FORS Silver level, we have been able to obtain permits for our lorries to enter London until 25 October 2024.
The Direct Vision Standard (DVS) and safety permit for heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) requires all lorries over 12 tonnes gross vehicle weight to be granted a permit to enter or operate in Greater London. The scheme was created to improve the safety of all road users, including pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists.
FORS Silver Accreditation
